In a rather amusing coincidence. While having a conversation about how broken the instant/mobile messaging landscape is, I receive a work email informing me that internal federation between the internal IM environments will be broken and I won't be able to chat with the majority of users in the company for the rest of the year. Awesome.
Kinda nice to see my xmpp roster growing again after the Google mess from years ago.

@hybotics I'm running both GNU social and Friendica instances, tinkering with client side stuff for GNU social, pnut, 10C (of course), and now I'm poking a little at the mastodon api. So yeah I'm being very adhd about it. ?
I've been a bit scatter brained with some of my social network projects. I think I may need to focus a bit and get something more solid out and go from there.
To beer, or not to beer, that is the question. And I suppose the answer largely depends on how much code I want to try and sneak in tonight.
