Is it weird that I just devised a personal rating system for messaging apps? I just ranked Allo as a "No", slightly above WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger which get a "Hell No".

@matigo I suspect it's less so these days but certainly has the feel of someone dedicated 20% thinking towards it. Maybe it's more along the lines of 20% towards marketing rather than the technology? ¯\(ツ)/¯

Just when I was starting to warm up to the idea of going Android again, thinking "this Google stuff isn't too bad if it can be managed properly", I see something like this and realize that it's a trap!
