@phoneboy I almost wonder if there is some sort of politics at play, perhaps fighting between teams for control of the messaging space and the users are being dragged into it.

Google is getting rather silly about these messaging apps. Hangouts in particular.

@matigo That's why I did the math and decided app.net isn't worth any of my time or money.. I will say this though. I think there are some cool things coming out of the failure of app.net. :-) // @kdfrawg

@kdfrawg I figured the end will be when the subs drops below the costs to sustain servers given their activity level. But since there is nothing but radio silence from the founders we won't truely know until it happens. // @matigo
