I did some deeper investigation on this and it appears that the SSL libraries may be too old in webOS. Which given all of the vulnerabilities that surfaced in recent years isn't a big surprise. When I do web service calls I get back empty responses, and doing tests from the command line yield SSL errors.

I found that if I reload the page, the long press then worked and was able to log out and log back in.

In other news I've gotten this Ubuntu Phone pretty much setup and working (with a test SIM not my primary line). I wish there was a xmpp client though.

This particluar person seems to feel that way anyway. Just serves as a good reminder as to why I don't mix personal and work devices.
