lol and broke another apparently.

So I started on a new thing this morning.

I've been flipping between my iPhone, Nexus 5x, and Lumia. But I have the Nexus 5 with Sailfish on it and my Ubuntu phone may have final shipped.

Perhaps I need to look at my phone usage differently. Maybe I should treat my iPhone like a basic phone. Just calls, SMS, and a mobile hotspot. Then use whatever smartphone catches my mood and tether it using wifi.

Oh I clearly understand that I cause my own problems. But Apple does appear to apply a certain amount of adhesive to it's customers to make switching away from their products more painful.

So I've learned. I just have to also remember to go and disable iMessage and Facetime right away when I do that to avoid getting trapped back in that hell again. Things like that make me dislike Apple.

Indeed, but I've come to really like having VoLTE which afaik is only available with certain smart phones. I fully realize I cause all of my own problems in the end, just need to come up with a creative solution to get everything I want the way I want it.

So a full reset of the iPhone gets everything working again. I guess when I move my sim around next I'll need to consider an alternative to the voicemail thing or just be prepared to reset the iPhone everytime I want to use it again.
