Thinking about my future device development direction while drinking #coffee and updating my developer tools. Because that's how I roll on a saturday morning.
Okay signing off from work a bit early. I need to hack on something fun for a bit.
@gtwilson Oh I'd really rather use GIT. But that'll require more process change and human training before it's realistic. Most of what is kept in this particular CVS repo is configuration and scripts that are maintained by app and sys admins, not really developers.
// @jussipekonen
@c There is also a pushover option available as well https://blurbybot.monkeystew.org/
// @jws @jasonechols
@gtwilson I'm sure at some point someone will balk at the CVS repo and migration will be forced.
// @jussipekonen
@jussipekonen Well I personally prefer to use git. But it doesn't make sense for this particular repo. The alternative would be Subversion but I don't like svn so I'm not motivated to migrate it.
In other news I'm watching my inbox fill up with CVS commit emails because someone decided to be rather productive for a Friday afternoon.
Morning meetings done. This afternoon I have 2 SharePoint workflows, a PowerPoint deck, and a python based portal in development. Guess which of these I want to actually spend time on.
Bah. WiFi calling has failed me yet again on my BB10 device. I think I'll just need to give up and resign myself to using this Samsung phone until something better comes along.
