@jextxadore What's the post id or link?
// @matigo
@matigo I'm willing to bet your code is no where near as laughable as mine. :p
// @phoneboy @larand @rabryst
For those following along I setup an internal XMPP server. Now to see how well it works and how long it can avoid the eye of those that would strongly object.
@tomas Hmm.. Isn't that a series of pipes I heard important politician refer to?
// @matigo @JeremyCherfas
@JeremyCherfas I've used IRC on the intertubes periodically so I'm familiar with it. But you say there is a specific thing called IRCChat? Do you have a link?
// @matigo
@c Ah right. Thanks for the poke. I'll see about getting that addressed this weekend.
@matigo Hmmm… You know if it's available in the yum repos maybe I have a valid argument for running it. I mean why wouldn't it be allowed if it's installable right? ?
@matigo Possibly, not sure if it'll trigger on the monitoring scans though. Maybe an xmpp server or matrix server. Those may not be as alarming as an irc daemon.
Okay I decided I'm tired of waiting for the Skype people to fix their crap. Exploring options for setting something descrete up to serve as a chat room on an internal network. Suggestions welcome, perferably something that doesn't unleash the wrath of info sec upon me.
