Need to rekajigger my bots as a result of me splitting out my gnu social feed from friendica into it's own instance. The forecast for test posts looks to be high. :p
@matigo yeah it's a strange world we live in. i hold out hope that one day the leadership in the US will realize how stupid it is and toss it (DST) once and for all. but more likely it'll be some entitty that has enough interest to lobby for it to happen. swatch time would be cool too, I would totally be on board with that.
What's even more awesome is that I get to experience the daylight savings time change twice this year. Today in the US, and once more in the UK on the 27th.
@matigo I've been to Japan. It was fun for the couple of weeks I was there on vacation. Of course I could just as easily move to Arizona too. But I think I'll stay put for now.
@indigo weight isn't really a big concern for me. but given all the places I'm going I don't think I'll have much down time to be sitting with a computer other than the plane.
On second thought maybe I should just leave the computer at home and only use my phone & tablet…
@indigo nope it's vacation. as such i don't expect to be on the computer much at all but like to have something along just in case.
Looking at my electronic devices deciding which should accompany me on my trip next week. Wondering if I should leave my nice laptop at home and take a netbook with tiny linux distro or a chromebook instead. Hmm…
Desperately trying to be as productive as possible. But given that it's Friday afternoon and that I start my vacation next week I'm finding it rather difficult.
