Hmm… Wondering if I should script re-sharing images that I upload in the gnu social space (quit.im) back to here. I don't share photos often so it wouldn't be spammy, at least coming from me. Kinda like what @phoneboy uses between Instagram > ADN only using a non-facebook owned source. :-) Should be pretty simple to whip up.
@thedan84 I've asked myself the question in the past as well on previous projects. What I ultimately come back to is what is my end game. If I'm building something for myself that I'll enjoy and have no expectations beyond that then great build away. But if I expect to make money or have it widely adopted then obviously that changes things. The big challenge in building something for a centralized service is that it lives and dies by what that service chooses to do or not do in this particular case.

@matigo the dismantling of various expensive electronics to learning how they worked. Including the first family computer. And yes at first my mother was horrified, but relaxed and even encourged me after she saw I was able to restore things back to working order.
I wonder if I'll actually be able to poke at any code this evening or not. So much to do still and time is rapidly running out.
