I don't want to hate on Slack, it seems like a fine commercial product. But it really bugs me to see communities around open technologies and/or open source use a close system like this when there are existing open source solutions that work great.

Yeah it's very weird. I think some slack sales monkey got to the right people at mozilla and the people in charge just don't care about the organizations purpose.

Made it through the mid-point of the week. The craziness resumes tomorrow but till then I think I'll just relax and perhaps partake of a little game time with Super Mario 64.
