@joanna I hear you. I don't often post them for that reason. I'll show more caution in the future. I have an addon for firefox that automatically pauses them until I hover of it so I tend to forget how annoying they can be.

@lukasros I'll be staying with a friend near Frankfurt. But we'll likely be all over the country side at some point knowing how me and my wife are. :)
@streakmachine Pretty much. Matrix does have in their API capabilities around bridging to other networks so they have the right idea. But it's dependent on the other networks cooperating which is iffy at best. Most like to live in their own little sand box and not play with others.
